I was sitting around one day in the library of the university at the time, and I was just pondering some questions about the universe/physics.

This idea that the sum is greater then the parts, I think applys when we talk or refer to the mind. I watched a documentary about how many neurons the brain has and how they are all accounted for but that none have been targeted being used for the self/or mind consciousness, but this was from a few years ago.

SO HERE IS MY THEORY IN SIMPLE/ABSTRACT TERMS

I think that because our brain uses electricity it creates a magnetic field and I believe that this is where the human consciousness/mind exist. I think in this magnetic field our mind is expressed based on the simple rules of science, and or information stored using electrons( maybe using spin-electronics, or electron hole science). This phenomena is based on I think quantum mechanics/ and interactions of gravity. Part of why I think this is true because it would help explain having a sum greater then  the total parts of the human brain.

What do you think, any ways to test theory out?

    A couple of possiblities..

    1. The algorithms of the brain are just much better than our present computer science, as are the compression of mp4 vs mp3, and even our present ability to compress 10 channels of digital on 1 channel of analog.

20 years ago, it took much more magnetic tape to store music digitally than as anolog.

    2. The quantum dynamics of the brain, may exploit the many worlds aspect of electrons (as wave/particles) and our brains process some information, and/or store in parallel with other realities. A bit more far fetched for sure..

I think these far fetched theories are unlikely, they are typical for our human desire to be something special.

    How about mine:

What is consciousness? When you cut it down it's just the word "I" the rest is information processing done in neural nets. And that word "I" is stored like all the rest of the informations.
